 In an effort to keep ourselves accountable to our promises, we are keeping a quick weekly log of our experiences and asking ourselves some basic questions in order to capture our reasons and our outcomes in working through 52 promises.

Tracy - Read a Book

Why was this promise important to you?

Reading more is something that I've been wanting to do, so it was important to jumpstart the year with a book under my belt.

How did you feel when you completed your promise?

Happy.  Good.  



Shea - Have a Sleep Over with Nona

Why was this promise important to you?

It was important because she means a lot to me and it was fun to hang out just the two of us.  I like spending extended periods of time with my Nona.

How did you feel when you completed your promise?

It felt good.  I was excited.  



Kyle - Walk Three Times This Week

Why was this promise important to you?

I've been on a little bit of a health kick lately in terms of diet and food logging, but I haven't been getting my steps in, so I wanted to make a promise that would get me up off my butt and moving a little bit.  

How did you feel when you completed your promise?

I felt great.  I started taking phone calls at work on my wireless headset and walking around the block and around the parking lot when the weather allowed.  It was pretty darn easy to get a number of steps in that way.
